The camera is officially a very compact superzoom photo camera, which allowed me to legally bring it to the concert. Thanks to the 30x optical zoom it is great for video recording too. This was the first show I taped with this camera. The first downside of the camera is that the maximum filming time is limited to 30 minutes, so I had to stop and restart recording in between songs. It also resulted in a short cut during the solo of Tornado of Souls, I filled the gap with audio only for a couple of seconds. The other downside is the auto-focus of the camera which found the heads and arms of the crowd or the big screen much more interesting to focus on than the band on stage, donױt blame me. Overall I think the recording came out reasonably good, with lots of close-ups (and heads and arms) from the pit and handheld filming for the whole gig.
